Ravi Camadoo | Flair Bartender | Museum of Sydney | Public Sydney Exhibition

Introducing Ravi Camadoo, flair bartender. I spotted Ravi in Hyde Park, Sydney rehearsing his moves for an upcoming cocktail flair contest, he is a sight to behold. Ravi describes himself as “Liquid chef extraordinaire, hand eye co-ordination like a boss, can kick flip on demand”. Check out some of his videos on YouTube.  I shot Ravi for the Museum of Sydney’s latest exhibition Public Sydney : Stop Look Live, 30 March – 8 September. Unfortunately my images of Ravi didn’t make it into to the show, but check out some of the shots below.

The brief was for me to go out into the city and find people using public spaces and in particular groups of people using the spaces in ways that they were not originally intended. Inspired by the new book Public Sydney: Drawing the City, by Philip Thalis and Peter John Cantrill, this exhibition features photographs, drawings, objects and video stories about five important Sydney sites: Bennelong Point, the Museum of Sydney, Hyde Park, Town Hall and Central Station.
