Australian Museum | Diprotodon

Here’s some images from a recent marketing shoot for the Australian Museums schools program. The large creature is a Diprotodon, meaning “two forward teeth”,sometimes known as the giant wombat or the hippopotamus wombat, is the largest known marsupial ever to have lived. It lived in Australia from approximately 1.6 million years ago until extinction some 46,000 years ago
